Having persevered through their fair share of adversity, The Dangerous Summer return with their sixth full-length studio album entitled Coming Home, due for release on September 26, 2022 via Rude Records.

After a hiatus that lasted a number of years, frontman AJ Perdomo restarted the band alongside guitarist and longtime member Matt Kennedy in 2017. With the help of guitarist Josh Withenshaw and drummer Christian Zawacki, The Dangerous Summer is revitalized and ready to release some of their most introspective work to date.
What sets The Dangerous Summer apart is their brilliant ability to encapsulate such a wide range of emotions in both their music and lyrics. This is not the surface-level “my heart is broken” type of emotion found elsewhere. Coming Home is full of soul searching, joy, regret and hope all in one record.
Highlights of the effort include the upbeat “Dimensional Love” and pre-release single “All I Ever Wanted Was a Chance To Know Myself” which is thick with the aforementioned soul searching as Perdomo croons, “I’m fighting out here for life and I’m way too far to be going backwards now.”
As The Dangerous Summer continue to grow, evolve and build on previous experience it is abundantly clear that Rude Records recognized the band’s gift to help the listener fully engage with any of the emotions their music evokes and partnered with them for the release of Coming Home.
Next up, The Dangerous Summer are preparing to take their moving live show on the road this fall across Europe and North America, supported by Beauty School and The Brkn in Europe and My Kid Brother and veterans Like Pacific in North America.
