Toronto Trio Incase We Crash scale things back with somewhat of a surprise for their fan base in the Acoustic Education EP released on August 9th, 2019.
The first notes of the re-imagined “Straight 2 the Head” are instantly mesmerizing with the acoustic take on it and the other songs on the effort allowing the listener an opportunity to engage deeply with the material.
Like “Straight 2 the Head,” the thrice recorded “Let’s Start” has grown over time with each recording and its acoustic rendering is nothing short of beautiful.
Acoustic Education is not the only recent surprise within the Incase We Crash orbit, as the band announced guitarist Alex Koval has joined the ranks alongside vocalist Simon Austin and drummer Tyler Twigger, in addition to his work with Carried Away. In celebration of the release of Acoustic Education, Incase We Crash will play their hometown with Calgary’s Widmore on August 10th.
