As I write this weekly New Music Friday piece, sharing the hottest new releases from our favorite bands and artists, the sun is shining through my window as I am sipping on black coffee out of my Beatles mug that reads the lyrics “it’s been a hard day’s night and I’ve been working like a dog.” There are no better words to sum up the feeling of a crazy week coming to a close and the anticipation of new music, concerts and weekend plans being right around the corner.
