Known for his production work with such seminal acts as Texas Is The Reason, The Movielife, Thrice, Senses Fail and a host of others throughout a career spanning more than 25 years, Brian McTernan steps behind the microphone with his project Be Well. The quintet is a supergroup of sorts which includes members of Bane and Darkest Hour. Formed in 2019, Be Well is set to release their latest EP entitled Hello Sun, due for release on Friday May 20, 2022 via Revelation Records.
It is instantly apparent from the first notes of Hello Sun that McTernan is just as talented behind the microphone as he is at the production board, supported by extremely talented musicians. Be Well execute a fast-paced form of hardcore that is indicative of their collective experience in the music industry.
“I Will Leave You With This” is a highlight of Hello Sun on which McTernan intones, “I’ll leave you with this piece of myself after years where I hadn’t felt like I could ask for help,” illustrating that Be Well are unafraid to wear their hearts on their sleeves.
Having already shared the stage with the likes of Boysetsfire and Hot Water Music during their short existence, Be Well is preparing to hit the road across the US in support of veterans Four Year Strong and New Found Glory from May 26th through August 9th, 2022.
