Howdy, my name is Ray Moore. I am originally from Valdosta, GA. For the last nine years, I have lived in Columbus, OH. I graduated from Ohio Christian University with a degree in Leadership/Ministry. In my spare time, I like to write, read, go to sporting events (soccer, baseball, and hockey) and concerts, of course. Man, I miss concerts. I also work part-time for a local booking promotion. Pre-pandemic on any given night, you could find me at a show, be it attending or working it. Music is one thing that makes me happy.
Some of my all-time favorite bands are; Thursday, AFI, The Cure, Hot Water Music, and Drive by Truckers. A few of my current favorites are Spanish Love Songs, Fever 333, House and Home, Cigarettes after Sex, and The Wonder Years. Some of my favorite genres are emo, post-hardcore, and Americana. My local scene means the world to me. I’ve met some of the best people because of it. Because of that, I’ve been able to write about bands I love, interview artists, and even go on a few tours. Music is life. When I’m not doing music-related things, I’m molding young minds. Thanks for reading, and I’ll see you at the Rock Show!!!!
