Alongside the likes of Broadside and Telltale, Flight Club are the latest in a recent surge of amazing talent to hail Richmond, Virginia. After a few years of playing anywhere and everywhere as they established themselves, the band return with their latest effort, Until the Sun Drowns, due for release on July 30, 2021 via Open Your Ears Records.

The quartet have undoubtedly created a record that is true to what they want it to be, without bending to the pressure of the way bands within their genre “should” sound. As guitarist Sam Tucker notes, “We hope anyone who listens to this record can hear the freedom of creativity that we felt working on each song.”
This creative freedom comes through in spades on the album’s lead single “I’ve Been Kicked Out Of Better Homes Than This,” featuring aggressive guitars and a bass line that expertly implants itself into the listener’s consciousness before anyone can realize it. “Two Tongues” further illustrates Flight Club’s creativity, while the upbeat “Visitors” showcases Flight Club’s poppier side.
Until the Sun Drowns proves that the first rule of Flight Club is that everyone should talk about Flight Club.
