GROWTH AND VERSATILITY CONTINUE TO PUSH CAPSTAN FORWARD WITH ‘SEPARATE’

Orlando quintet Capstan return with their latest full-length entitled SEPARATE, due for release on July 23, 2021 via Fearless Records.  Before breaking out due to the unique approach taken to each song they create, the members of Capstan were known for running the ‘Capstan house,’ which functioned both as a venue and as a place to stay for touring bands.

Boasting energetic, intricately arranged and hard-hitting tracks, the band moves from strength to strength on SEPARATE.  The ferocious riffs of opener “pretext” set the table for the following nine tracks that are weaved together seamlessly.

Pre-release singles “shades of us” and “abandon” showcase the growth Capstan has undergone since the release of 2019’s Restless Heart, Keep Running, although the band has been building on a solid foundation from the moment they started.

The versatility of SEPARATE is displayed on “take my breath away // noose” and “sway” as a side of the band that is rarely seen shines, while “shattered glass” expertly integrates melody into the hardcore sound that current fans readily embrace.

To celebrate the release of SEPARATE, Capstan will be hosting a livestream performance for fans worldwide on July 27th at 7pm ET/4pm PT.  After enduring the challenges of these last many months, Capstan is set to hit the road across part of the US supporting Tiny Moving Parts in November 2021.  If SEPARATE is any indication, Capstan’s fanbase is set to exponentially grow.
