HOT MULLIGAN POSITION THEMSELVES TO RESUME TOURING LIFE WITH FIVE FRESH TRACKS IN ‘I WON’T REACH OUT TO YOU’

The signature sound of Hot Mulligan resonates across the five tracks of their upcoming EP I Won’t Reach Out To You, due for release on May 28th, 2021 via Wax Bodega

Hot Mulligan – ‘I Won’t Reach Out to You’ album covert

Although it begins with the slow vibe of “One For The Boy” and concludes on the same vibe with “Please Don’t Cry, You Have Swag,” vintage Hot Mulligan notes kick in on the ingeniously titled “Featuring Mark Hoppus,” allowing the band to make statements such as “listen to our new single Featuring Mark Hoppus.”  This clever titling strategy bears similarity to “All You Wanted By Michelle Branch” from 2018’s Pilot and has actually resulted in Mark Hoppus of Blink 182 contacting the band with the promise of appearing on a future Hot Mulligan track.

Emo-leaning fans will immerse themselves in this EP which chronicles a relationship that has crumbled, the final nail hammered into its coffin by the heavy emotion of the aforementioned “Please Don’t Cry, You Have Swag.”  Lyrics such as, “I can’t get past the fact I drag almost everyone down,” and “I won’t be there,” will inevitably find themselves integrated into sleeve tattoos, further endearing Hot Mulligan to their fanbase.

With the release of I Won’t Reach Out To You the Lansing, Michigan collective, who have recently transformed into a quartet, have positioned themselves well to resume touring life with fresh tracks that simultaneously stay loyal to Hot Mulligan’s sound while also marking a new chapter in the band’s career.
