Scene favorites State Champs released two songs off their forthcoming EP, State Champs Unplugged, after a livestream celebrating their 10-year anniversary.
Due for release August 14, 2020 via Pure Noise Records, the six-song EP boasts four new tracks and two reworks. Available today, fans can listen to pre-released singles “Crying Out Loud,” a brand new song, and a stunning reimagination of “Criminal” off 2018’s Living Proof.
“‘Crying Out Loud’ took us the longest to get to a place where we truly felt excited about the song.,” shares vocalist Derek DiScanio. “Once we got there, we knew this emotionally heavy, yet upbeat tune about breakup, loneliness, and moving on would be a solid single.”
