The debut album from House & Home is a well-balanced combination of high-energy hooks and poignant lyrics

Not to be confused with Household from Minneapolis, House & Home are the latest collective to be making waves out of Richmond, Virginia, following in the footsteps of Broadside and Telltale.  Their debut full-length record Find Sense. Feel Love. Make Light, due for release on April 17, 2020 via Open Your Ears Records is a well-balanced combination of high-energy hooks and poignant lyrics.  House & Home is a band that has clearly committed to alt-rock and they do it well as the ten tracks on Find Sense. Feel Love. Make Light display.

Tracks such as “Heatseeker” and “Burn” are full of the urgency that fuels the record as a whole.  If this effort doesn’t become the break-out record that it deserves to be, a subsequent House & Home record could well be.  There is definitely something very positive here and definite potential for future growth.  House & Home are surely on an upward trajectory.  Having shared the stage with Nominee, Trash Boat and Hold Close the waves House & Home are making will soon crest into whitecaps.
