Album review: A Decade Apart – ‘Premonitions Part 2’

Back at it again is the dynamic group known as A Decade Apart. Following the release of Premonitions Part 1 in 2018, the band is set to release their new EP Premonitions Part 2 on June 7, 2019. The EP was produced by Trevor Boggs via Sound Legend Studios and the album work was created by Bryan Filarsky.

Premonitions Part 2 will feature six hard-hitting songs that will leave you stunned. A Decade Apart are not only recognized for their endearing lyrics but also for welcoming everyone they meet into their music family, living by the motto #WeAreAllWeHave, and I truly believe this message is portrayed in each track of this collection. “Titan Arum” has a euphonious sound with lyrics that are easily relatable, making this track a standout for me.

“I feel that Premonitions Part 2 is a direct representation of the past relationships from members in the band. It’s an emotional roller coaster from start to finish and we hope it will connect with our fans and ADA family.” – Vocalist, Josh Hardin

I advise attending the Premonitions Part 2 release show on June 8, located at Big Room Bar in Columbus, Ohio with support from Odd Promise, Morning In May, Dread Engine and To Kill A Monster. Tickets and more information about the event can be found here.
