We made it! The best day of the week: New Music Friday! The music industry slows down during the holidays so it’s feeling quite amazing to see the flow of new music starting to roll in. Every Friday we’ll let you know the new music we have our eyes on here at Spinning Thoughts. Make sure to comment down below, or on Twitter, and let us know if we missed any new music that you’re jamming to!
Capstan — In The Wake of Our Discord
Capstan drops a killer new seven-track album via Adventure Cat Records. The opening track acts as a tasty appetizer right before you get punched in the jaw with the main course full of crazy hooks, breakdowns, and powerful vocals. You can purchase the album on iTunes or stream on Spotify.
Capstan will be hitting the road with Eidola and Andrés starting February 8 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Maggie Schneider — Tinted Glasses
Maggie Schneider brings you a four-song EP full of gorgeous melodies, thoughtful lyrics, precise musicianship, and vibrant vocals. Tinted Glasses was recorded with All Time Low’s Rian Dawson at Track Happy Studios in Nashville, Tennessee and features a track with Alex Crain from The Everyday Anthem.
Hussey — Hitchens
Hussey is the solo project of Nathan Hussey from All Get Out. Hitchens is the first release of this solo endeavor via Equal Vision Records. The album will keep you patiently focused, listening to every word and every phrase, every note and every strum of the guitar.
Black Veil Brides — Vale
Black Veil Brides is back with their fifth studio album, Vale. If you’re into scorching guitars, operatic vocals, head-banging riffs, punchy drums, and an overall rock vibe then you’ll appreciate this next milestone for the band.
Don’t miss Black Veil Brides, Asking Alexandria, and Crown The Empire on the American run of “The Resurrection Tour” now through March 2.
Tonight Alive — Underworld
Tonight Alive is bringing you an eclectic new album all the way from Sydney, Australia. Underworld, released via Hopeless Records, has 13 tracks that will keep you engaged, intrigued, and vibing all the way to the final track that features Corey Taylor from Slipknot and Stone Sour.
